Release Notes for EPS 12.0 August 2015
An updated version of ePermitting is now active. This update (12.0) includes:
Notifications to PennDOT Functionality
Notifying PennDOT when permitted work is about to start or when permitted work has been completed generates an email to any assigned Inspectors, the County Reviewers, the District Responders, and the Applicant Team.
· Functionality now exists to notify additional County Reviewers beyond those assigned.
· County Reviewers are now able to receive notifications from multiple Counties.
· County Reviewers are able to specify through a newly created UI screen which Counties within their District to receive notifications.
My Applications Work Queue
A new work queue section has been added to group permits that have been Returned for Revisions. Authorized users (Receivers) are able to access and manage the listed permits from this work queue section. The Returned for Revisions section lists permits that the Receiver themselves returned. The Receiver will not see returned items created by other Receivers. The items will stay in the queue until an action is taken that removes the application from the Returned for Revisions status.
Advanced Search Functionality
There are several components of Advanced Search that have been modified:
· New fields to search
· Paper App # field – appears on HOP Permit Application & BOL License Application search screens
· Doc Type field – appears on all HOP & BOL search screens
· EPC # field – appears on HOP Permit Application search screen
· Changes to existing field
· Segment field is changed to be a range of values with validation
· Relocation of field
· Legislative Route field is moved below Segment field
Application Summary Screen
The Additional Details section of the Application Summary screen was displaying both a Utility section and a Driveway section, regardless of the type of application. The section now only displays information specific to the type of application being viewed.
