Customizing a Report
Standard reports and application prints are available from a link on the Application Portal screen.
The SAP Business Objects InfoView application lists all ePermitting available reports. Standard reports can be generated by clicking the report name. After the standard report is generated, the report can be filtered by applying additional parameters.
NOTE: Secured access to reporting requires an InfoView user ID and password. Security is controlled by PennDOT IT administration, not within the ePermitting system. For access to public reports available from InfoView, contact your supervisor.
To customize an ePermitting report:
1. Open the ePermitting website in your Internet browser. The Application Portal screen appears.
2. Click the ePermitting Reports link. The Log on to InfoView window appears.
3. Type your assigned User Name and Passwords in the fields. Click Log On. The Navigate window appears.
4. Click Document List in the tool bar. The left pane displays available folders.
5. Click Public Folders to open the folder.
6. Double-click ePerm to open the folder. The list of reports appears in the right pane.
7. Double-click the icon or the report title to select it. The report generates automatically.
8. The standard report is displayed in the right pane.
9. Click Parameters in the tool bar. The available filters are displayed in the left pane.
10. Click the Click to Add field for the information to filter.
11. Type the text in the field.
12. Click Apply. The report will generate automatically with only the selected information.
13. Click the field to edit the filter or add filters in other fields as needed. Click Apply to regenerate the report.
14. To remove a filter, click the field and click Delete. The report will regenerate.
15. Continue applying filters as needed to refine the report. Use the standard print or export icons to send the report contents to a printer or file.
