Reviewing BOL Application
Work Queue
1. Tasks assigned to a user are available in their Work Queue, and organized by the application status.
2. When a Receiver assigns a BOL application to a Bridge Unit Reviewer, that Reviewer will see the application in their Applications Work Queue (in the Under Review section).
3. Clicking a hyperlinked application number in the Work Queue will open the application for review and comment.
4. If a user has new BOL applications waiting in the Work Queue, an e-mail notification will be sent to the user.
Review BOL Application
5. Reviewers (from the Bridge Unit) are responsible for:
· Reviewing application details to determine if a license should be issued or denied.
· Assigning other Reviewers, if necessary.
· Entering additional information, such as work descriptions, fees, and level of effort.
· Adding reviewer comments and/or license conditions (if needed).
· Marking the review “Complete” to signify acceptance of application information.
6. During the application review process, Reviewers are notified of tasks and status:
· An e-mail with a link to the application is sent to a Reviewer when they are added to the Review Team.
· Assigned applications appear in the Reviewer’s Work Queue.
· After a response is posted, all participating Reviewers receive an e-mail with a link to the application.
7. Reviewers assigned to a BOL application will have the ability to view and/or update the following information:
o Applicant Team o Attachments o Work Summary and Locations o Application Identification o Fee Information |
o Review Team o Reviewer Comments o License Conditions o Level of Effort o Application Notes |
Approve Response
Once all Reviewers have completed their review of an application:
· The application moves to the ‘Pending Response’ Work Queue section for Responders in the application district.
· Once a Responder opens the application and indicates he or she will build the response, the application is moved to the ‘Building Response’ section of that Responder’s work queue and the application status changes to ‘Building Response.’
Responders are responsible for:
· Reviewing application information (and correcting, if needed).
· Adding, including, and/or excluding comments and/or permit conditions.
· Building the response letter.
· Assigning an Approver.
An assigned Approver is responsible for:
· Reviewing a response before it is posted.
· Assigning another Approver (if necessary).
· Approving the response (or returning it for revisions).
